Staff Profile
Alison Noah
I have been working at Highland since 2012 with one year prior to that at Fridley High School and long term subbing throughout the metro. I attended Bemidji State University receiving a B.S. in criminal justice with a minor in chemistry. After years of guiding backcountry trips I realized that teaching was at the core of what I was doing. I went back to school at the University of Minnesota and received my M.Ed. in science education with an emphasis in chemistry.
I still love to be outdoors and do backcountry trips, but now it is with friends and my own two kids. I also love to read and garden. I am also involved with Highland's nordic ski team either coaching or volunteering and the Outdoor Club.
Something interesting about me is that I was a park ranger at Itasca State Park for one summer. I lived in the park, which was a very unique and great experience.
