Matthew McKinney

Welcome to Integrated Science! My name's Matt McKinney and I'm excited to be a part of your science journey. I have been teaching since the 2011-2012 school year at Highland Park and have enjoyed my time being a part of this community.
I have my bachelor's degree in biology through the University of Minnesota, Masters Degree in Education through Augsburg University, certified to CIS classes, and was recently awarded a NOYCE fellowship that will allow me to become National Board Certified and receive an Ed Specialist degree through Hamline.
Outside of school I love to be outdoors doing things like hunting, fishing, camping, and watching the Packers beat the Vikings. I live with my partner Lori and we have a 2 year old German Wirehair Pointer named Hildy.
