Staff Profile
Liana Lingofelt
2024-25 will be my 25th year teaching, and my 15th at Highland Park Senior High. Prior to coming to HPSH, I was a Secondary ELA TOSA for St. Paul, and though I enjoyed that position, I missed the classroom too much. I have also spent time teaching in California (both in Hollister and Seaside) and Duluth.
I graduated with a B.A. from The University of Minnesota-Duluth, and I still enjoy visiting when I get the chance. I also completed my Master's of Education at St. Catherine University in 2015.
Along with teaching English, I am also the Highland Park Senior High School newspaper (The Plaid Line) and PRIZM advisor, so I am always looking for students that are interested in contributing to the newspaper. I am excited to announce that The Plaid Line/PRIZM will continue to be offered as an elective course this year.
