Bonjour! My name is Mary Steffy and I teach French at Highland Park Senior High School. Here are a few tidbits about me:
*I've been teaching French in SPPS since 1993!
*I'm American and Luxembourgish and have dual-citizenship.
*I've taken 14 groups of students to France over the last 30 years and will take another group over spring break 2026.
*I majored in French at the College of St Benedict.
*I taught English in Morocco as a Fulbright Scholar.
*I'm married and have two children, Grace and Sam. Grace graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2022 and Sam is in his junior year at the U of M.
*I love to travel and will move to Europe when I retire.
This year I will be teaching the following courses:
French I, II, III, V, VI
