I am currently part of the metronet project working to improve student's literacy in the 21st century using technology. I have a son who is a junior at Highland and a daughter who is in 6th grade at Crosswinds. My wife is a religion professor, writer, and ordained United Methodist clergy woman. Inquiry Students learn how to write research questions and develop procedures to perform labs to answer their research questions. This is inquiry methodology rather than using "cookbook" labs. I use this method because it helps students develop important critical thinking skills.
