Many great minds and spirits have come out of Highland's IB Program. Here are some of their thoughts on the IB Program at Highland.

"IB ROCKS and is the way to go if you have any college aspirations - it's challenging, but fun and well taught." - Cynthia Schoettler '02.  Cynthia graduated from Brandeis University in Waltham MA with a degree in Health: Science, Society, and Policy. She is now working at Children's Hospital in Boston, MA.

"The IB program prepared me to succeed in college. But more than that it taught me how to think and how to be a world citizen which is, I believe, the most important thing anyone can be." - Rachel Kowarski '04. Rachel is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she is pursuing a degree in Political Science and Integrated Liberal Studies.

"I'm in an economics class called "Poverty and Inequality in Latin America" and yesterday I was just thinking about how boring I found History of the Americas junior year but how valuable it has proven to be in this class. We're learning about the history of inequality in the Americas and a lot of the vocabulary that comes up is material we covered in IB with Ms. Bierman." - Mary Mei '05. Mary is a sophomore at Wellesley University where she is studying economics.
