BELL Power Scholars Academy: July 17 - August 25
Send your Kindergarten through Fourth grade children to Maxfield's Summer School! BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) Power Scholars Academy is a six-week Summer Learning Program in collaboration with Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood, Saint Paul Public Schools and the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities. Power Scholars Academy is designed to prepare K-4 scholars for their rising grade and reduce the summer learning loss through BELL's summer curriculum. Since we began four summers ago, we have solid data of the significant reading and mathematical gains made by our scholars.
The built-in relationships between scholars and their teachers are one of our best features. In the mornings scholars will have Math and Literacy classes taught by licensed teachers familiar with their social, emotional and academic growth. In the afternoons they will engage in quality enrichment classes such as Drama, Tennis, Technology, etc. Fridays are dedicated to service, special events and field trips. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily.
The deadline for registering is Friday, April 14th. Please contact us if you have any questions.
