I am an East Coast transplant enjoying the wonderful air here in Minnesota. This is my fifth year at Highland. I earned my B.A. at Washington University in St. Louis and my Master's from the University of St. Thomas.

Some helpful tips:
If you must bring your cellphone to my class, make sure it is off. If I hear it, it's gone. Hear it more  | | Little Leab says, "Oh my! Get those phones off, stay off the interwebs, and study, kids." |
than once, and it's duct taped.
Get off the interwebs and do your homework. Hey, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. are all great, but your homework and classwork are more important.
Study, Study Study. Too often I get a student who wonders why he or she is failing and the book has not been opened nor have notes been taken. If you don't look over the material, you can't pass.
