Jamie Nabozny with the Highland GSA after his presentation to the school. About Jamie (http://www.jamienabozny.com/): Throughout Jamie's Middle School and High School years he was verbally and physically bullied for being gay. With the help of Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund Jamie fought back. He won a landmark federal lawsuit against his school administrators for failing to stop the harassment. Jamie now speak out for the millions of kids bullied in our schools everyday. He shares his story and consults with schools to make sure what happened to him is never repeated.

Mission Statement
To make the school a safe place for ALL people, no matter what race, gender, or sexual orientation. We would do this by promoting a positive environment.  As members of the Highland Park GSA, we will try to stop discriminatory slurs and any other form of violence from happening.

ALL ARE WELCOME!  Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 2:10 pm - 3:00 pm in Room 2204.
