WELCOME to Highland Park Senior High School!  

I am Dr. Winston H. Tucker, the proud principal of Highland Park Senior High School. I have worked in the Saint Paul Public School District since 1989. Prior to becoming principal at Highland Park I was principal at Murray Junior High School for nine years.  I've also taught Social Studies and Humanities and served as an Assistant Principal, all in the Saint Paul School District.  In fact my first year of teaching was at Highland Park Senior High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), my Masters of Science and Doctorate in Educational Policy and Administration degree at the University of Minnesota.

My wife Sheri and I have an elementary age year old daughter Sophie and a dog named Humphrey. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, reading, fishing, riding a 4 wheeler, boating, vegetable gardening, time spent in the outdoors and spending time with my family. I have also purchased a 1950 Chevrolet pickup truck and a 1938 Plymouth car that I intend to restore into hot rods.

Our philosophy at Highland Park Senior High School is that every child can learn, will learn, and we will help them learn. All of our students can succeed at a high level if we work together to assist them to do their very best.
