WELCOME to the Art Department at Highland Park Senior High School!

Art is a way for students to develop their whole minds. Through research, Harvard's Project Zero found that people who engaged in the arts developed specific and useful Habits of Mind; develop craft, engage & persist, envision, express, observe, reflect, stretch & explore, and understand the art world.

The Art Department serves all students by using innovative resources and instruction, working with the community and arts organizations, and engaging students in both creative & technical learning.
